Go Forward with us! Are you up for the Challenge?

From battling the Polio epidemic to pioneering the first Child Life program and launching the Brain Institute, Nicklaus Children's Hospital has always led the way in pediatric care and innovation. In honor of our 75 years of service, we’re proud to introduce you to Forward4NicklausChildren's, our dedicated day of giving.

This year, in honor of our 75th Anniversary, we invite you to make a gift during the 75-hour Challenge period from March 19-21, and make an impact for generations.

Nicklaus Children's is where your child matters most™.
So does your gift.

Meet Gracie: While her mom was pregnant with her, Gracie was diagnosed with Down syndrome and a congenital heart defect (CHD) that would require surgery shortly after birth. After searching for a cardiology specialist, Gracie’s family discovered Dr. Redmond Burke at the Heart Institute at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital. Thanks to the treatment Gracie received, she continued to develop and begin walking, talking, and more.

Meet Juan Diego: Born with a severe congenital heart condition, Juan Diego’s health rapidly declined, leaving him struggling to breathe. In need of specialized care, he came to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, where life-saving surgery at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Heart Institute gave him a second chance. Today, Juan Diego is thriving, thanks to the expert care that led him to recovery.

Meet Roberto: Roberto was born smaller than average and, after further evaluation, was diagnosed with Wolf-Hirschhorn (4p-) syndrome, a rare condition that brings many challenges. Thanks to the unwavering care of the dedicated team at Nicklaus Children’s, Roberto has received the support he needs throughout his childhood. Today, he’s a bright and thriving 11-year-old, full of hope for the future.

Keily, an 11-month-old girl born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate was the first child to undergo an operation in Kenneth C. Griffin Surgical Tower, one of the most innovative pediatric surgical facilities in the nation.
